The Dancing Dead by Grace Mahoney is a collection of poetry inspired by the classical vampire from myth and literature. These poems were written over ten years and reflect the changing face of the vampire in modern culture. The vampire has changed from soulless monster to modern matinee hero in a short one hundred years and like humankind who can guess where the vampire will finish. All anyone can say for certain is like everything the vampire is still evolving.
